Jennifer (Kidder) Frankenberg

With over 20 years in the food industry, Jennifer Frankenberg founded Kidder Consulting Services to guide her clients through food safety and regulatory challenges. As a strong believer that food safety and regulatory compliance is critical in protecting consumers, companies, and the industry as a whole, Jennifer helps companies develop and implement best-in-class food safety programs. She has worked with, and for, food companies of all sizes, and brings to the table deep experience in food safety, regulatory compliance, food certifications, supply chain management, operations, and equipment design.

Over the span of her career, Jennifer has performed over 100 diligences, including food safety inspections and operational assessments; documented and implemented policies, procedures, and training programs; managed food-related crisis events; prepared companies for SQF and BRC certification audits; worked with professional and food industry trade associations; and facilitated an overhaul of an ANSI standard on hygienic bakery equipment design. In addition to her own expertise, Jennifer maintains strong connections with a vast network of food experts and professionals that she relies upon to provide insights, advise, their experience-based knowledge, and assistance.

Jennifer has spoken at various national food and private equity meetings, sat on panels, and conducted webinars for the food industry, covering food safety, regulatory compliance, and supply chain topics. In addition, she has been published in several food industry magazines. ​A strong believer that food safety and regulatory compliance is critical in protecting the entire food chain, Jennifer enjoys using her expertise, and leveraging the expertise of other experts in the field, to help further the growth and development of the industry.
